Drop in Resale Prices for HDB. HDB Rental Market Outlook.

Hi Everyone,

Resale prices for HDB have been dropping over the previous few months and my view it is may continue to drop till mid 2015.

Reasons for drop:
1) Leasehold property (99 years) - Reduction in market value

Increase in price for (Tampines 5 Room Flat):
However in places such as Tampines

1) Increase of demand as nearby amenities such as Shopping malls (Tampines 1, Tampines mall and Centry Square).

2) Transportation - MRT Lines to be introduced (Greater Connectivity)

In Conclusion: it is hard to compare however we can base on median prices and each transaction price which matches your property type. For more details feel free to contact me. Rental prices is not affected as much however it depends on the location, condition of the home and other factors such as near by amenities.
